Tyre size help! 305 Ko2 vs 285 Nitto Ridge Grappler

Hey all,

Just got myself into this Ranger game and looking at upgrading the wheels on my newly purchased 2016 XLT.

Have 2 choices and not sure what one will be best. Car has a 2 inch lift, Hamer bullbar.

Can Get a good deal on these options. Either a 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grappler OR 305/65/17 BFG KO2.

From what I can see rolling diameter about the same, however not sure if any possible issues with the wider tyre, or if the narrower Ridge grappler is a better option. Any help appreciated!

You'll have no problem with the 285/70/17s if you havent already discovered this.
