Hi,

I have a fault with my escape and the ABS light was on. I connected the MXBT and the phone app and it showed no DTC.

I was going to try OBD wiz with the laptop but it wanted me to register so as I have forscan loaded I tried that and it showed up many DTCs and told me what what happening. What great program, I havent purchased a license yet as I simply dont have time to spend playing with the ranger at the moment.

Any ideas why the OBD link phone app is not showing the DTC

Would not support half of the other modules I would say.

Use Forscan demo to test the update to lite version on your phone for fault codes and if it works pay the $5 or whatever it is as it would have paid for itself already.

They do deserve it.

I intend to get the full version of forscan, I think its excellent value. Just havent made it happen yet.
