Anyone else with Sync 3 and Apple Carplay have issues when driving through the Westconnex tunnel (from Ashfield to the M4 at Homebush) in Sydney?

It's part of my daily commute and about 90% of trips I have the navigation jump to surface roads when driving through the tunnel. It is worse when driving Westbound, but happens in both directions - around Five Dock going west and just before the exits at Ashfield going east.

I usually use Waze, but Apple maps has the same problem.

I've run a separate iPad with Waze at the same time and it has remained traveling through the tunnel while the Carplay version jumped to surface roads (resulting in lots of incorrect turn instructions as it tries to work out where I am).

I know this tunnel has Bluetooth beacons in it and I'm not sure if Carplay uses them or ignores them.

I'm a bit of a loss about how to solve the issue.
