Headlights on when switch is off

Hi All.
2017 ranger xlt.
Has anyone seen an issue where the headlights are on when the switch is in the off position? They work normally is auto mode (off in daylight) but in the off position, the lights will come on after a few seconds and I get the chime when I open the drivers door.
I’ve tried disconnecting the battery for ten minutes. No change. I’m unsure if this is a new problem or if it’s just started as I only really use auto mode.
