I have managed to keep 90 - 95% of the dust from getting into my tray through the tailgte.
A simple and cheap fix, if it lasts that is.
I used some self adhesive tape.
I got it from Clark Rubber and it is EPDM414 Supersoft Self Adhesive tape 24mm x 6mm black.

Old post but curious to see if your dust proofing is still working. I can see daylight around the tailgate and at the corners of my canopy. Hate dust at the best of times.

Some gets in but I don't know if it's getting in through the tailgate or canopy.

A few friends who have canopies are putting air vents in their roof to pressurize their canopies after being unable to dust proof them, they say the results are good. ARB want about $80 for theirs but an alternative one used in the boating community is half the price, surprise, surprise

The ARB Ascent canopys come with a vent fitted.
It does help but sealing around the tailgate also helps.
