Hey all, new member and first post.
Fitted up the new ARB rear bar to my ranger today but once finished checked everything was all good and found the new LED light in the bar wasn’t working. Checked for power and had nothing either, checked I had a good earth on the ol test light and that was all good. Looked through the manual and no fuse for the lights? Is this something as simple as hooking some sort of gauge to the OBD port and resetting something or do I have to go through the dealership to sort this out? Cheers

Should work, mine did without errors.

But yes, I would be plugging in and checking for any fault codes.

You could do it yourself if you have a laptop and a dongle wp/product/forscan-usb-dongle-windows-10-support/ and Forscan or ask your friendly Ford dealer to scan it for you.

Number plate lights are powered from a FET in the BCM. Will display a fault code if not working. Clear the code and all ok. I had led's fitted but after a while stopped working. Put original globes back, cleared fault code and all ok. I had fitted good quality led's with built in load resistor but the BCM still didn't like it.
