There are some good options out of Thailand but they are pretty pricey.

Your reversing camera is always on. What changes is the connection of your head unit displaying the video.
Many after market head units allow you to display the video at will. Not sure about the Ranger head unit. There are also many reversing mirrors with a video display.
If you really want this, then you would need a video splitter at the camera feed and send the second video feed to a screen. Alternatively, find the reversing wire and mimic the gear shift going into reverse. This will fool the head unit but not the tranmission.
Although, you would need to test this whilst stationary just incase one of the control units does not like this state.
