Okay, here's one for you electronic and computer programming boffins to ponder over.

On my PX2 2017 Wildtrak (6 speed automatic) when I'm using the sports mode the selected gear 1-2-3-4-5-6 appears on the small Rev counter on the far right hand side of the speedometer binnacle. However when I'm in Drive, there is no indication of the gear that the box has automatically selected. Can this "Sports" mode indication be attached / joined /melded / programmed to the Drive mode so that I can see what gear I'm in at all times ???

I know you guys like a challenge so I thought I'd just toss this one in, feel free to toss it straight out though :-) if its not possible.

No.

Use a Scangauge or Ultragauge to display the current gear.

Yes, I understand that option but is it possible to have the gear displayed on the rev counter when the gearbox is in Drive mode the same as it is when its in "Sport" mode ?

Hi there,

Can I revisit this one - I've just taken delivery of a PX3 Wildtrak 2.0 Bi Turbo. While in Drive, pressing the toggle switch for gear change that you use for sports mode brings up the gear display on the right side of the left hand display. Everytime the vehicle is started it has to be reselected to display it.

Is it possible using FORSCAN to get this to display permanently when the vehicle is in Drive?
Interested in finding out more about the Ranger
