Change to

Affected global clock 12 hour vs 24 hour. Original asbuilt is 24 hour.

Ok an additional note on this.

Every time when I used to reprogram my IPC is would reset to 12 hour and I hated this. My brain runs on 24 hours and not 12 hour bursts.

Once I put this back to 24 hour the IPC stopped reverting to 12 after a program. So my assumption is this is all it effects, it's an assumption as time clocks in vehicle generally just count in seconds and what you see is a conversion of this.

I would now say use either or depending on what you want the time to revert too. This also affects Sync on an IPC reprogram.

Hi
I've disabled door chimes in Forscan, front seats are fine but the rear seats ding once after disconnecting seat belt.
- can this ding be removed completely?
- Why didn't Forscan stop the ding?
- will your change to IPC stop back seat dings?
Cheers

Did you disable all seatbelt chime options in non asbuilt IPC, not the asbuilt change as above?

Yeh Stew, disabled in the non-asbuilt, I havent touched asbuilt yet.
Thought it odd that it would ding when unplugged - rear seats only (fronts disabled fine)
Are you getting dings to rear seats with changes made to asbuilt?

PM me your VIN, I will check something on yours and give you a different change in the RCM.

I do not have rear seats with sensors, Supercab.

Your RCM is showing all disabled and there and no other option for rear seats. I would have assumed mid seats would disable it but yours are already disabled by default.

You can try RCM

737-02-01 xx6x-xxxx-1xxx

This will stop the RCM looking for seat belt sensors in the middle seats, this should not effect anything else as they do not have pre tensioners and no airbag setting have been changed.

** Warning you are playing with the Restraints Control Module, airbags etc. Any changes you make are made with the understanding by yourself that it may effect other safety related items including the airbags. I have enough information to say it will not but the decision to change lies with yourself.

Please make backups and take a picture of previous settings before making changes. Read DTCs before and after clearing any.

Thanks for the reply.
Backed up everything, made changes but vehicle didn't want to play.
Yellow seat belt light flashing on dash consistently with malfunction warning.
RCM DTC's for each rear seat (3)

Reverted changes with no issue - no further DTC's since.
Will live with the single ding dong sound regarding the rear seat belts disconnecting.

Next test is changing the diff ratio in ForScan - I'll let you know how that goes Stew
