I have a snapon diag unit, basically a tablet running a version of windows with the snapon diag program. It functions as a standard windows tablet would it be possible to load forscan to it an have it work using the same wireless obd connector? Has anyone tried this before?

thanks in advance

I do not believe the adaptor will be compatible, there is still nothing stopping you from using the tablet with a compatible adapto though.

Just downloaded Forscan while waiting for account to be activated, it seams to have picked up the bluetooth lead that the snapon software uses, does this mean it should work with forscan?

All you can do it try it. No guarantees as I do not have one and nor does the Forscan Team.

It will work or it will fail.

Well tried today and got this error, strangely though it did speak to the adaptor and start the led light for connecting. so next question the cable on the products page do you ship to uk? as all ready have spent a lot on diag that does all but coding side so I dont need a expensive bluetooth adaptor etc

I can ship anywhere you like, postage will be automatically calculated, so try and see if the postage price is acceptable.

I have shipped a few around he world.

well ordered a cable, wow Aus to Uk in less than 3 day. I can confirm it works perfect on a snap on unit. Finally after two years of Ford Uk refusing I no longer have to listen to ****** chimes everytime I leave keys in car or open a door, or take belt off when driving around a farm at low speed.

love the climate screen on dashboard so can change temp with steering wheel, and shame the offroad gauges dont work fully. will have a proper explore again over weekend.

big thanks the Saeb
