Cheers

Big question and it will also come down to how much weight you are carrying.

If you are not really heavy, less than 2900kg then I say stay clear of OME Nitro, I'm a bit over them after 50k, I sure they are getting harder not softer and the valving is way to hard for normal day to day driving.

You best bet is to find a local Ranger club and try and get a ride in a few to see what suits you.

OME nitro rear shocks are the same part number for all there spring rates. They can get dangerous on corrugated corners. Superior off road offer compression adjustable shocks as do other companies. Tough Dog & Koni etc only have rebound adjustables.

Have a look at ksp off roads matrix suspension.
Designed and tested in Australia equal to superior engineering quilty and a lil bit cheaper as they come assembled with billit top hats ready to fit.
There popular with Hilux guys as well.

In my experience, that means they'll be absoloute garbage.

Several colleagues have had leaking Superior shocks and other failed superior components too - Never before has a company name been so far from the product quality!!!

After 4.5 years I ended up with Fox 2.5 with DSC.

Good stuff.

Good stuff indeed Stewart, tried them out yet? I've got some stuff coming through opposite lock, outback armour trial front struts and tailshaft bearing spacer, their front bump stops and rear shocks with dobinsons parabolic rear leaves, also have an airbag kit for the odd times I'm really loaded, I understand the limitations there, can't wait.

A little bit, tend to turn them down a touch when floating back and forward to work as it rides really nice and smooth with a little bit of float so more sedan like and turn them up a fraction on the rougher roads, if a prolonged trip.

Launched it on a dirt road at 100 odd kph where they had cut a drain through the middle of the road, all 4 wheels off the ground and it did not bottom out, landed smoothly and handled it as I would expect. Anything else I have used always bottoms out the front bump stops.

Apart from that I'm currently locked up in a 5km radius rubbish so cannot do much more.

Yeah it's shit this virus stuff, your suspension sounds good though, adjustability is a great idea, mine are as well just not remote reservoir, I'm a bit concerned about my rear shock adjusters getting wacked, time will tell there I guess, hang in there brother, the bush awaits, looks like the numbers are on a downward trend so they will let you roam again soon I'd say, maybe not over the border but the high country is within reach.
