Tie Down Tracks

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good solution to improve the tie down set up in the tub. I have four tie down points which aren't really adequate for my needs.
I was thinking about running aluminium tie down tracks along the sides and one down the middle. To distribute the load place aluminium strips on the underside and then either rivet them together or bolt/nuts. I would have to cut slots in the tub liner to place the track through the middle as the ridging is too close together for the track to sit on top.
Any suggestions appreciated.
