Does anyone know if it is possible to change codes to allow me to have the a/c fan on, compressor off, and vents open? Also, can the requirement for the clutch to be pressed before starting be removed?

No, no, no. As you know even with A/C off the A/C still comes on due to climate control. You could possibly install a manual switch on the A/C clutch and the same could be applied to the clutch. Keep in mind there is a lower and upper clutch switch so you will have to be imaginative with a 2 pole switch.

I was hoping to find a simple solution to a stupid problem. All I was after was the ability to have ambient air blowing in without the climate control operating. I guess that's what the windows are for. The clutch override sounds like a much much later project. Have you found a way to keep the 12v sockets powered with the ignition off using forscan?
