Had the ranger in for service and the loan car had the auto start stop feature.

While i could see it being annoying some times it was good sitting in the city traffic.

Is this something that could be enabled in the rangers that dont have it as standard?

Had a bit of a search to see if this had been talked about but couldn't find anything

No it cannot. There are other components involved and the current auto transmissions are not compatible.

The new 10 speed for next year should be and the current Ranger manuals already have it.

My Wildtrak is manual and has it. I find it annoying and have to disable it every time i get in the car. I would love to turn off permanently. I am sure the starter motor and parts wearing out would cost more than the fuel savings?

I have had it added to Forscan, so you can disable it completely.

Oo that would be great.

Thanks I will try it later? I downloaded software and applied for advanced licence. I guess my laptop can work with my bluetooth ODB adaptor plug
