wiring harness rubbing on 3.2

3.2 px. The harness running "over" cam chain cover where it attaches to engine block rubs and eventually shorts wiring causing engine to stall & other issues. So check and fit a protective sleeve over harness. it's easy to see if you pop front plastic engine cover. the timing cover is black pressed steel.

Yes, saw that but mine don't run over it.

Ok you must have got lucky. The ones I have seen all are rubbing. Definitely worth checking though.

Checked mine and it was rubbing so long term would have caused issues. Perhaps they changed is for the 2018.

Most later models I have looked at seemed to have had a revision and did have sufficient space. Not sure the exact date the revision was made.

Mine is Dec 16 build.
