I am doing some calculations for a water/meth system i am looking to trial on my ranger and require the CC's of the injectors for the calculation. I have surfed the net with no luck.

Probably have more luck talking someone that rebuilds them.

NOTE: I've updated the table to reflect 180MPa instead of 200MPa.

I don't know the rating of the injectors, but you should be able to work it out from this table for the 3.2.
This is the fuel quantity (cc) delivered at max pressure (180MPa/26100psi) in an amount of time (ms) and provides a maximum, but most of the time the injectors are not at max pressure. The possible quantity of fuel injected is a combination of fuel pressure, duration and RPM.

(I've assumed mass of diesel is 0.85kg/litre to workout cc's)

ms____ | cc@180MPa
0.1608 | 0.3247
0.1632 | 0.3294

Note that I've updated the numbers to reflect 180MPa (correct max pressure) instead of 200MPa (wrong).

This is great info. Where did you get the flow data? On an injector test bench?
My tuner is hesitant to alter injection timing because he knows "rangers melt pistons"... but he's happy to stuff more mg of fuel in.
Is there a rule of thumb for a given increase in injector duration, how much timing should be added to put the bulk of burn inside the cylinder (to optimise power and control exhaust temp)? And/or same question for increase in rail pressure.
Any knowledge shared is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

The table of info comes from the Fuel Qty table on a SID209 ECU. I don't know if the SID208 injectors are same/similar, but my expectation is that they'll be in the same ballpark.
If you want to work out where in the piston travel injection is happening, you'll need all the timing tables, injection pressure tables, Fuel pressure and Fuel Qty tables. You stick them into Excel and from there you can generate tables that tell you what you want (start and end of injection) . However, the answer is not as simple as your questions would infer. Injecting extra fuel will [slightly] alter the start of combustion, and depending on whether it's via duration or pressure will alter things again. The more I scanned the more I realised getting a real handle on the P5AT operation just takes time and paying someone for their experience would be cheaper. While well intentioned I wouldn't use a tuner who doesn't already know the answers to the tuning requirement, otherwise you're just a guinea pig.
YMMV.

Thanks Ian
Yeah i wish there was a tuner in Adelaide that knows their game (and isn't a cocky prick) that i could rely on.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd travel interstate (unless I was in WA/NT) if I wanted a tune, so I had some confidence.
I have 2 names in Melbourne that I'd use if you're interested (PM me).
