Anybody know if the instrument clock on a PX1 can be changed without using the radio?
My son in law swapped out the original radio for an aftermarket unit and does not have steering wheel control of the new radio nor can he set the clock in the instrument cluster.
Any thoughts?

Not that I have ever seen. As you said radio has been removed and that is where the time was coming from to be dispalyed in the first place.

Thanks Stewart, I thought as much.
He has the time displayed in the cluster but it defaults to midnight when the battery is disconnected and re- connected. I told him to disconnect and reconnect at midnight if it bothers him that much.

Bit late to the conversation, but just saw this whilst browsing. On my Aerpro kit, holding down the "Voice" button on the left hand side of the steering wheel for ~5-10 seconds will trigger the factory radio to turn on, and the steering wheel control to pass through all the button presses. Not pressing any buttons for ~10 seconds will "turn off" the radio (Back to just date/time screen). This was with the Connects2U module for the steering wheel control adapter. I did also play around with the DIP switches in there, so that may have had an impact.
