Startup Shutdown

If you ever have an issue with startup shutdown not working one way or another then do a factory reset.
I recommend a factory reset from new, before programming anyway. If you order the unit pre programmed for Ford CAN you can still have this issue and it may crop up 2 years down the track, the day you install it or never. It can happen even if the modes are set correctly.
Having installed a new one last night after programming on the bench it will not startup but shut down so I have to reset and enter everything again. It is time consuming and a pain.
So factory reset any new unit before programming and check startup/shutdown is working first.
