can we flash new firmware to wipe sync system.
I have had endless issues over the last month.

constant bluetooth connection issues.
screen freezing up.
slower menu sections than usual.
seems like the software needs reinstalling?

Ford will prob look at and if it if its working, check fault codes and see if there is a update all things I can do without needing to have them do more damage to it.
(scratches, crushed side step etc from hoist then try to say it was not them) over arguing with them.

I have not worked on a Sync 2 for a long long time. Ford is going to be your best best to reflash back to factory again.

I assume you have tried a master reset?

yeah its intermittent seems to get a bug and plays up then sorts itself out again.
did you upgrade? your tag still says px2.


ps sorry forgot sync3 came in late 2016 so that me i guess.

I had Sync 2, I ditched it for Sync 3.

What was the cost and where did you source the sync 3 head unit?

They will range in price between 700$ and 1250$. All you can do is contact wrecker after wrecker until you find one and is what I do at times. I did mine last year so a fair while ago.

On the occasion I manage to find one and it's generally gone within 30 minutes.

You will find lot of other threads in regards to Sync3 swap over so have a search and all the info is there for what is needed to complete.
