Parabolic Rear Spring Packs

Hi All,

I'm doing research on suspension replacement options and was wanting some advice on rear spring packs. I'm wanting 200 odd kg constant load rated springs and have heard some good reports on Parabolic springs, giving a better ride and more wheel travel. Has anyone fitted them and have some real life comments (also which shocks are you using). 2" lift will be the height.

I will also be looking at Airbags to assist with my ocassional load carrying duties, such as towing our camper (170kg ball load)

cheers
Geoff

I had parabolics on a V8 79 series 'Cruiser and they were great. I doubt you'll need air bags though as the parabolics will gradually get stiffer as the load increases, preventing too much sag. In the Cruiser, I found the ride excellent, both laden as well as unladen.

I can only assume they would be similar on the Ranger.
