PX1 vibration/pulse at idle

Hello

I have a strange vibration at idle, almost like a pulse. Cylinder balance looks OK, nothing more than 1.05 or
0.95, idle is stable (almost just feels like the idle is too low) and it drives fine, smooth as up the rev range. No smoke whatsoever.

I have read there were good results for idle vibration from a service bulletin for injector noise with a pcm update. It's a px1 though so not sure if that service bulletin applies to it?

Nothing seems to indicate anything on forscan data as in everything is stable. Have cleaned the map sensor.

It did have a low km px2 engine fitted to it, wondering if the injectors were changed with it or the old ones swapped over, waiting for a cable so I can use the laptop version of forscan to check the injector codes are correct.

Egr hasn't been blocked, thinking that could help?

Anything else to check?

Engine mounts?
Torque convertor?

Appreciate any thoughts? Maybe it's just the 5 cylinder dance?

Have you had the torque converter / gearbox replaced? . Some early utes had problems with TC. cheers, Butch

It's actually just had the trans and converter rebuilt before I bought it. I wondered if it could be an issue in the converter but would have thought it would get worse the faster it spins? Whereas this is smooth by 1000 rpm.

Hmm. I just had my transmission rebuilt and it’s back there, I suspect the TC. Wasn’t vibrating but I do think it could be an issue. Maybe like how tyres that are out of balance may be worse at certain speeds, not necessarily just worse as they get faster. May also be related to the pressure supplied to to the TC… perhaps?
