I've fitted full set of Powered Leather seats into wife's Mazda BT50, from UP series to UP series.

Had auto electrician attempt to locate why they would not function.

Car seat connection has the power seat socket, it already had power seat relay and fuse fitted.
I'd switch them with other relay and fuse of same in case either was faulty.

The Auto Elect, ran power to seat and it functions perfectly, said the relay was not getting 12v signal.
His scan tool couldn't read the bcm, he suggested I chase up a ForScan as it would most likely be a bcm setting.

So I've done just that, I've change seat trim value from cloth to leather.
That didn't help get them functioning.

I found in engineering 2, Power Rear Seat (no sign of Power Front Seat) selected it, still not functioning.

I also found in engineering 2, Seats, this gave option of Unassigned (current setting), 1-5 Seats and 2-7 Seats.
I changed it to 1-5 Seats.
No luck.

So many settings, some weird ones too that never imagined.
Everything but Power Seats Front.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Auto Electrician will bypass power to seat but rather sort it to how it should be.

BTW, noticed another post on someone wanting to fit Ranger/Everest Seats to a 2015 BT50.
There was concern of air bag compatibility.
If there was such a concern, would it not light up the airbag fault light?
Or a fault code?
First of the UP series, late 2011.

Do as you have done. Run a separate relay and wire, it is achieving the identical thing.

Sometimes you have to weigh up time vs benefit. You have an outcome and will gain no benefit from running through the factory relay.

I did run a separate circuit for my PX2 seat swap, it was not worth the time in the end to wire to the original location.

If airbags were an issue you would have an airbag light.

Enjoy the new seats.
