Hi guys, anyone know where the factory 12/240v inverter is in the PX2? Without thinking I plugged a Waeco fridge into it and have let the smoke out if mine I think. Cant for the life of me find the inverter module now tho. Cheers in advance

Don't touch it. Take it to Ford and tell them it isn't working and it will be replaced under warranty.
It is under the centre console if you want to find it and is in an aluminium box.
They are meant to have overload protection anyway but do not seem to have it. Mine was replaced and others have had them replaced and you will have yours replace as you only had a laptop charging off it.

I know this is an old thread, but can you replace the factory inverter with a 300w one?I can't even charge my milwaukee batteries as the charger is 155w and factory inverter only 150w

Not really. Just add an appropriate sized convertor running direct from the battery which will save a lot of headaches.

How fast do you need it to charge?Jokerjanet wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 10:10 am I know this is an old thread, but can you replace the factory inverter with a 300w one?I can't even charge my milwaukee batteries as the charger is 155w and factory inverter only 150w
This would be an easier option, but looks to be slower than the Rapid Chargers the tools are coming with.
Saying in the spec M18 9AH Battery takes 240mins

Has anyone upgraded the oem invertor to a larger unit? I would like to and maintain factory wiring and control
