Reverse Camera Enable via Forscan

I wired a non-oem camera to a sync 1 4" ford ranger xls (philippine market) via 4dtech cables.

On various forums I followed:
Changed fcdim and bcm. Run BCM lin - gives out a warning its non oem.

If i just turn on fcdim - no rear view camera error.

Anyone has a solution? TIA.

I don't understand the question.

You are running a non OEM camera and get a warning it's non OEM? Makes sense to me.

The camera does not have a LIN connectionso you will never have lines.

What is the actual issue you are having?

Issue:
7A5-01-01 changed value to 2 on xXxx xxxx xxxx - no camera
726-39-02 changed value to 1 on xxxx xXxx xxxx - still no camera with DTC error.

7A5-01-01 changed value to 2 on xXxx xxxx xxxx - no camera - This is correct.
726-39-02 changed value to 1 on xxxx xXxx xxxx - still no camera with DTC error. - Don't believe you need it as the camera does not have LIN.

Do you get a blue screen in reverse?
Have you changed any other FCDIM settings?
Did you also try a FDCIM reset from the spanner menu?

I dont get a blue screen, its black with the error message.
I did not change any other fcdim settings.
I did not do an fcdim reset - is this required?

You are saying when you put in in reverse the screen goes black and has an error message displayed?

So its plausible it is not see a video input, whether this be the supplied loom or the camera itself. Test the camera on another device that supports RCA input, a TV for instance to confirm it is working. Apart from this your asbuilt looks ok.

I do not have a FDCIM sitting around to do any testing on so cannot confirm that or not.

I suspect the RCA cable is problematic. I tested another camera im getting the same result, will see how it goes when I get another one, should have tested all before installing.
