SSM 46681 - Ranger and Everest/Endeavour Vehicles - Wiring Pigtail Kits Available for Warranty Repairs
Some vehicles may present with a wiring harness connector that is damaged. Dealers are advised, prior to replacing the wiring harness to investigate if a wiring connector pigtail kit is available? For additional information, refer to PTS>Wiring>Repair Kits>Pigtail and PTS>Wiring>Wiring Home. Common examples are A/C compressor connector WPT-984 (part number 3U2Z-14S411-BXAB/3U2J-14B475-BXAB), headlamp connector WPT-603 for 2011-2016 Ranger Base Trim (3U2Z-14S411-XZA/3U2J-14B475-XZA), WPT-1276 for 2015-2016 Ranger Mid-High Trim (CU2Z-14S411-ALA), horn connector WPT-372 for Ranger (3U2Z-14S411-ATA/3U2J-14B475-ATA), WPT-1051 for Everest/Endeavour (5U2J-14B475-ZB/5U2Z-14S411-ZB). If the part is available, technicians are advised to conduct the most cost effective repair as failure to do this may result in a claim being reviewed. SSM: 46681
