Hi Everyone
Can anyone help me to get the reverse camera guidance lines and park sensor back on.
I was playing with the forscan after both won't work and fault code come up,try load the factory as built file from forscan itself but end up showing not compatible module.
Was upgraded from sync 2 to 3.

Sorry to dig up an old thread . I've just had the same issue with the reverse camera. The active guidance lines are no longer working .
I did a service yesterday and due to my own stuff up not bleeding the new filter properly it stopped after about 30 seconds . I re primed it all and got it going but did flatten the battery along the way and through a fault code . I cleared the code with my bpt n-gauge . And was off and away . Today when I shifted the car is when I noticed the reverse lines weren't doing their normal thing . I'm unsure if the flattened battery and resulting code had anything to do with it or not. Also I didn't write the fault code down either .
The ranger is a 2016 px2 but running a newer sync 3 . I did a software update this afternoon all ready while checking all the settings but I'm now unsure where I should start next . An help would be greatly appreciated.

Run LIN configuration and see if issue resolves, else the camera has an issue.

Thanks Stuart.

I'll order a usb/obd adaptor and give it a go .

Can the usb/forscan adaptor run OK utilising a 5-10m usb active extension cable ?. Only reason I ask is the only laptop we have in the house is quite old ( still windows 10) . But my desktop is very new and up-to-date and would prefer to use it. But obviously I can't park the car in the office and would need to run the cable out the windows to the car on the driveway.

And thanks for the quick reply.

Cheers

Never tried and do not have cable that long to test with unfortunately. 5 metres I would say there is a fair chance.

Bit of a long shot but have you driven anywhere since you serviced it and now have the problem?

I have lost the camera reverse lines after having the battery disconnected. Research at the time gave me some info that said the car needed to drive froward to 20kph to activate the lines, which worked.
