This topic doesn't really fit in a particular sub-forum so this is the closest I get!

Has anyone here done a body lift themselves? I'm considering the kit from superior engineering https://www.superiorengineering.com.au/ ... er=364,355

Whilst a body lift seems like a simple way to lift the side steps etc. I'm sure it's not as simple as simply removing bolts and fitting the spacers! There must be hoses and wires that run between the chassis and body that need to be modified to make them fit?

Anyone here done it themselves (I dont mean getting a mechanic to do it for you)?

I Haven't lifted the body, but if you are running 2inch lift & 33inch tyres you will need to have it engineered if you lift the body.

Done 255/55R16 > 285/70R17 and +2" suspension, been thinkn about doing a 1" body lift as have PIAK winchbar and don't want a monster gap below guards and headlights.

I too would like to know if anyone has done a body lift DIY and what issues/tips you may have.

Have seen steering spacers, would this be needed for a 1" lift / recommend doing anyway?
