Something else that was never enabled by default.

Thus will give you an additional menu in the settings/vehicle/locks menu.

For those that have canopies with central locking, this will stop the car re-locking and avoid the problem of locked keys inside the cargo area.

IPC

Non stop start vehicles
720-01-01 xxxx-5xxx-xxxx

Auto Stop start vehicles
720-01-01 xxxx-7xxx-xxxx

Having trouble with this one on a PX3 XLT 2.0. I twiddled the bit from 3 to 7, turned car off/on.

In the locks menu I see these options:

* Auto unlock
* Mislock
Unlocking -> All doors / Drivers door
* Switches inhibit

None of these appear to control the auto-relock after 30s or so. I've tried changing the state of all of them and nothing makes this auto-relock behaviour go away. I have a centrally locked canopy and tailgate so keen to stop this to avoid the obvious accident which is sure to happen at the worst possible time one day.

I changed the 7 back to a 3, restarted the car and it hasn't made any difference to that menu at all. Has anyone got this to work on PX3?

Auto stop start is only manuals correct .? So having an auto I should use non stop start .

The modern autos are stop-start, at least the 2.0l is. You'll know if the engine turns itself off at lights.

Alternatively, if the digit is 3 then change to 7 or if 1 then change to 5.

Except it doesn't work for me on XLT 2.0. Seems to have worked for RossPat on PX2 above.

Have just checked my PX3 cluster and no it does not support the menu.

The assumption is that if the proxy key is still in the vicinity of the vehicle then it would not re lock anyway.

Alas that doesn't work if the keys are in the tub. Already locked in the canopy once, luckily was at home so the other set was to hand! Bit unfortunate this but thanks for your help.

Ok, try this. It will not give you the menu but should set the default option on ignition cycle as disabled.

I would make the change. Shut everything down, lock, unlock, shutdown, lock. Then press the unlock button and see if it stays unlocked.

726-21-01 from xxxx-x1xx-xxxx to xxxx-x0xx-xxxx

and possibly but probably not required so try the above only first.

726-15-02 from 0101-0101-01xx to 0202-0202-02xx

I can confirm that this does work to disable auto-relock on a PX3, but both changes are required, just the first one by itself had no apparent effect. I also timed the auto-relock and it's 45 seconds.

Thank you so much for your help!

I have a 2019 Wildtrak and it never seems to auto-relock. I have to manually lock it every time. I would rather it auto-lock when the proximity
key leaves

Totally different thing. This is for if the vehicle is unlocked with the remote but no door open. If this is your issue then look under settings, vehicle, locks and check relock.

What you may mean above is possibly plausible but have never tried certain changes to see if it actually works.
