There will be differences in the EPROM on the back of the IPC for older model vehicles I would say as you have confirmed, no amount of asbuilt changes will get all 4 to display.

I have a spare IPC here that will only display 2 wheels but have not tried writing Everest EPROM data as yet. Had enough of pulling the cluster out for a little while.

If and when I do then I will be able to confirm.

I added this one today, as per everyone else only works on the rear wheels for me.

Enabling front wheels is in the eprom. It can be enabled if the instrument cluster is removed from the vehicle but does not really give any better insight as the Ranger does not split the torque front to back like an Everest.

Added this one today, will take some photos when I duck out to the shops shortly.

Out of interest, is there a way to show the 4wd mode icon (Normal / Snow / Sand ) down the bottom near the fuel low lights?

Sorry, no.

But for us Everest owners that have missed out because we have early models... Well, many would like it enabled im sure.

I'm assuming even with the latest IPC that you cannot so all 4 wheels turning?

I had this enabled for a while, but it's throwing a DTC on my Ranger.

===IPC DTC U0138:00-8A===
Code: U0138 - Lost Communication with All Terrain Control Module

Status:
- DTC Present at Time of Request
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC

Module: Instrument Panel Control Module

===END IPC DTC U0138:00-8A===

Reset doesn't clear it until you disable the intellgent 4WD settings. I assume it's nothing to worry about?

Are you sure you didn't also enable the Intelligent Gauge Mode menu also?

Basically you want the gauge but make sure the gauge does not have the mode icon to the right as it will probably through a fault due to not finding TCCM.

Yeah I enabled both. I’ll test again and report back.

Yep, that was the issue. Just enable the first one - no DTC's.

Try to enable the Power Distribution gauge to show up everything seems to be fine but when driving no blue bar wheel status shows up.

Then the data in the epprom is not suitable. Same in most Rangers as they will only show rears. It is something you will not change.
