From the thread info above I used the Ford one, see below, and it worked on mine, auto trans.

0 200 7E1 22 1E1C ((A*256)+B)*5/72-17 ℃
I tried this compared to the other one and both work on OBD Link app but yours reads 17 degrees lower by the formula

I dont have the car here to check and the old phone I use to monitor data is in the car. My trans temp with external cooler fitted stays around 95 so it appears to work.

Sorry there’s about six degrees difference at operating temp. Might check it when it’s dead cold against ambient

Mine is a PX2 3,2 6 speed, yours is a PX3, what engine and gearbox? I dont know if there is a difference.

The thermostat in the 6 speed controls temp to around 95 so I know mine is reading correctly. Wife is using it and just got home so cant check ambient but from memory I think it is the same on cold start up.

Either way, my information for the transmission state the maths for the ATF PID is as below. 6 Speed and 10 speed are the same.

All maths for PIDs are metric by default. The other maths being used has been something some pull that had been converted to imperial then guessed what it may be back to metric. Any variances in temps from the below maths will be a sensor variance.

Automatic Transmission Temperature
Min Value: 0
Max Value: 200
Header: 7E1
Mode: 22
PID: 1E1C
Equation: ((A*256)+B)*1/16

I have checked my phone I use to monitor data and the I am using Equation: ((A*256)+B)*1/16, to monitor trans temp, not what I had in the original post. I have edited the original post to show correct data,

Sorry for posting incorrect info.

All good mate, it was directed at everyone and not yourself. Saw a few more posts and was clearing it up.
