EGT temps

Hi, have recently started monitoring with an MX+ and OBDlink ap. Just wondering at what temps should I be concerned with EGT temps? The few short yrips I've done show 12 and 13 anywhere between 270-350 (staying roughly the same as each other) and 11 anywhere from 250-550 (depending on the position of my right foot). Just around town but constant speeds. But trying to learn what to watch for when I'm towing.
Cheers, Adam

Anything up to 650C is fine, but the EGT temp you want to monitor is EGRT which is the temp in the exhaust manifold.
Everything else is fun and just shows the DPF doing burnoffs.

Am I looking at the wrong PIDs?
I've tried EGR Temperature Sensor (shows zero) & EGRT Pre Turbo PX2 & PX3 (shows 2000-2100).
That can't be right?

Most of the existing PID's are 3.2 tested unless noted. It's quite possible the 2.0 needs to reference a different PID since it's a different ECU being used.
This is one of the reasons why it's helpful to include PX version, engine type and the app you're using in your profile or signature...

Will look it up later and confirm but pretty sure it will be EGT11 in this case. Meanwhile the below will show locations of sensors and what is available for the 2.0.

PID EGRT 0569 was removed from 2.0 as the sensor does not exist, hence why you see what you see.

EGT 11 - 03F4, 12 - 03F5, 13 - 03F6 have identical PIDS and maths formulas in a 2.0 and 3.2.

As far as I'm concerned from everything I just read all EGT sensors are post turbo on a 2.0L. See image below, item 5 is EGT 11.

11 pre DPF, 12 Post DPF, 13 further down the line.

Have amended calculator wording to match my findings.

I thought I did that when I first joined. I will go through the settings and see what I did wrong

Forgive the ignorance but where do you get the information from with drawings and notations of equipment description?
