I have a 2022 PX3 XLS that I have added some XLT mirrors to gain the fold function and heat function.
From what I can see the wiring loom contains all the correct cabling to support the mirrors fold and heat function. Now according to the factory manual when the rear demister is turned on it will also activate the heated side mirrors. I have checked the fuse and under the bonnet fuse number 37 is a 10A that controls the heated mirrors. When the button is turned on I get a power flow through the fuse so I can confirm something is working.
The part that is falling over is when I test for voltage at the mirrors there doesn't seem to be any at the mirrors for the heating function.
Does anyone know if there is something else that I have to check or do or is it just not possible to add this function to my model of ranger?
Thanks

You are checking between pin 1(GND) and 4(PWR - grey wire) on the mirror plug?
That's from the wiring diagram I have for PX2.
Would be surprised if it doesn't work if the wiring is there to the mirror.

Yes it is odd I would have thought that they should just work I don't know why they would go to the effort of putting the fuse in to then have it blocked by something.
I will do some more investigating and see where the wiring from the mirrors stops when it gets into the main harness and see if I can find the missing link.

Any chance you can share that wiring diagram with me? I have had a look see and a lot of the wires stop as they get to the drivers footwell. Need to try work out where they need to continue.

Yeah I have somewhat sorted out part of it although I still wouldn't mind grabbing the diagram. Or can you tell me where you got it from? Whenever I am searching for a manual or a diagram I end up just going though loops ending up at a dead end.NathanSA wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 11:13 pmI would have but only came online again now but I see you got your mirrors sorted.

I believe heated mirrors only come in an Everest Titanium which had BLIS.
First image is on of Ranger and second image is from an Everest Titanium.

Puma10, did you ever get the mirror heat working properly? --- I just ordered some towing mirrors, and they have heating, so I wouldn't mind trying to get them working
