Figured I’d drop a pic or two of my rig and the trailer (also a ranger....) I built!

Designed by me, built by me and my brother, conforms to all ADR rules and has been tested and proven it’s worth up north QLD on tracks like telegraph and creb, then the 3,500k down to Sydney

Fantastic job, what is the weight of the trailer? Is it street legal?

Hey mate it’s a 750kg registered so non braked. I added drawers and RTT and awning etc but was still under weight when I had it weighed. Put your bedding and gear and food etc in it for a weekend or week away and still hot to trot!!


When I drove it down from Cairns I had pretty much my entire life in it (but was still under 750kgs ) but because I built it with overspec’d suspension and steel was more than up to the task!
