Ranger Mods

I have spoken to many Ranger owners on this trip, from Perth, NSW, VIC and everywhere in between and current owners of the 2016/17/18 models who owned older models in the past, mainly 2011/12 really miss one thing, they were very good on fuel.
Around 9lts/100 compared to 15/100 now.
Being a new owner this doesn't mean a lot to me because I don't know what motor was in the Ranger back then.

Are they talking about pj/pk rangers with the 3 lt 4cyl engine

What ever the 2011 and 2012 models had, I don't know.
