Do I understand correctly, that you wish to disable the DRL on the side that you currently have a turn indicator turned on for then to come on again when the indicator is turned off?
Hi Stewart,
That's correct, thats the possible function I'm chasing.

PS Apologies for not getting back to you when you were in Sydney, work got in the way.

Okay, did a bit of work myself rather than just hoping someone would do it for me.

For Drl that deactivates for only the side that the indicator is on...
Pigtail from Pin 36 is connected to positive of right Drl.
Pigtail from Pin 40 is connected to positive of left Drl.

I'm forscan BCM asbuilt:
726-26-02
XXX1 XXXX XXXX.

Full disclosure, found the forscan info on a Ford modeo site, and pinout for BCM came from another Taurus site. I have tested the car and it appears that this change has not affected anything else, but as per Saeb's warnings, only make this change after backing up your existing asbuilts in the case you need to roll back.

Well done on doing some research. Thank you!!

Yes you are correct on the switch back settings and I apologise as I actually forgot to post the change up.

I'm glad you sorted it and have shared with others. Thank you.

Out of interest, why did you want this feature?

The MCC bullbar has DRLs integrated into the same assembly as the indicator. Whilst the DRLs aren't overly bright, during bright sunlight they wash out the indicator when its in use.

More of a personal preference than anything would have been perfectly functional without it. Thanks for doing the groundwork and establishing which pins/crimper to use for the pigtails, saved me from purchasing a crimper to do two crimps, and more importantly saving me from doing the crimps with something like a bootlace ferrule crimper, or doing something nasty like that! Very happy.
