Ranger Mods

Hi All,
Am after some opinions and help please. Am looking at a way to display some basic information whilst driving & towing. Things like Rev's, Battery SOC, Voltage, Engine temp & Trans temp etc in my 2020 PX3 xlt Automatic. Just wondering what others are doing in their PX3's that works well. Am after something that can stay in the vehicle and just works without too much fuss.

Am currently thinking along the lines of the Torque Pro app with a blue tooth reader. (is anyone using this? opinions please and what sort of blue tooth reader do you have that just works, Recommendations please). Other than that I was also looking at the new Scanguage 3. Has anyone managed to get their hands on these yet? Opinions please.

Any other advice or help so I can get it right the first time would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Scanguage 2 in mine. Can't help you on any of the other options as I've not looked at them but the Scanguage has been faultless. I've had for probably 10 years now. This is the 3rd vehicle it's been in. I just velcro it on top of the steering column so it's easily visible without obscuring the dash.

Only complaints I have about it are that you can only display 4 things a once and it's a bit of a pin to program owing to the very basic controls, but neither of those are enough to make me ditch it for anything else. No doubt some of the newer options have better displays and user interface though.

The Ultra gauge would be my first choice.
Can display 4 or 6 items to a page plus it Auto pages.
That means it changes pages automatically at whatever time you set it to, from 2 to 30 secs from memory
Plus it's easy to read
The following two mounts are perfect for an ultragauge wp/product/ultragauge-bracket-rhd/

For a Bluetooth option you can't go past an OBDLink MX plus adapter and OBDLink app
Either adapter will stay plugged into the second OBD port permanently
Custom PID's are available from this site for all monitoring.
