PX mk1 Sync1 install?

Having played around with my new Mk1 XLT Ranger, I've noticed that the ICC software, from what I can gather, is a pre-Sync software package. It lacks a few of the Sync features I've seen on a similar year Focus, and obviously the branding for Sync.
I'm wondering how far fetched it is to install the Sync software and gain these features as UI-wise, it's almost identical to what I remember, just certain menu features are missing, and the LCD is a little smaller.
Did any MK1 model Ranger come out with the Sync1/Gen1 software? What about the Nav models as these have a slightly bigger screen and have an SD card slot.
