led upgrade - optimum height for led light bar

my introduction (everest6)
I am upgrading my 2015 Everest lights, including fog lights in arb bulbar.
What is the best height for led light bar, ie on top of the bar or below it?

I have always found the higher the light source, the better.
Probably the reason a lot now mount light bars on the roof.

Top of bullbar works fine. Or hang it under top tube with brackets. How you angle it makes the difference
