EGR monitor

Hi guys

Just want to confirm i am reading the outputs correctly for the following Air and EGR operations.

I have been monitoring:

EGR_EGT_TEMP which as others show max at 215 and is just used to trigger EGR operation
EGRVPB1 which should be % of EGR valve operation, can be seen oeprating constantly. On full throttle and DPF burn it is closed
EGR_A_CMD which looks to be the instruction to operate the valve above as valves match
ACT - I am wanting confirmation of probe location was hoping this was in the intake manifold
IAT - I am wanting confirmation of probe location was hoping this is at the intercooler outlet, although it reads similair to ambient temp and i doubt the intercooler is that efficient.

any help would be appreciated to understand this control better

Glenn

ACT is intercooler temp on outlet.

IAT is inlet air temp and will be near the air box and is why it is close to ambient.

I cannot confirm if the EGR temp sensor actually triggers the EGR to start as I have not monitor both together. If you find this is the case of errors a certain temp, please let me know.

Thanks Stewart

Is the EGRVPB1 the actual EGR valve operation as it passes into the intake?

Never looked inside one. Assumption is it is a butterfly and it will be in that location.
