Further to my recent post where I did a test on Light Force ROK20 worklights, I ordered a pair of Stedi 3301 and repeated the test.

Benchmark - My front lawn with no lights:

For reference, the Lightforce ROK20:

The Stedi unit is noticably brighter with the light angled toward the ground. However, the beam is very focused and there's a noticable bright strip in the middle (more noticable when shining onto concrete than grass). Whilst the ROK20 and 3301 are very good and both probably suitable for mounting on the side of the rook rack, where the 3301 shines is the distance the light is projected. The ROK20 illuminates the front lawn but not much beyond, even if angled upwards. The 3301 manages to illuminate the grass on the other side of the road quite easily.

The Stedi 3301 is somewhat bulkier than I imagined it would be, despite reading the dimensions before ordering. Its about twice the size of the ROK20 but its NOT twice the brightness in my opinion.
