Now im aware this seems counter intuative, but can you convert an XLT to have the XL/XLS AC control panel.

Generally a dual zone climate conversion means more sensores and actuators and maybe some programming, can it be done in Reverse

I see no reason why not, but why would you?

I hate climate control?

Climate control is for indirect heating and cooling, because the air coming out doesnt come out at the set temperature, the vehicle is trying to achieve cabin temperature so heating will be hotter than desired and cooling colder, so it can normalise tha cabin temp, this is fine for having on the demister or foot option so its not blowing directly on you, but its annoying as hell,

There was nothing wrong with, if you want it hotter, turn the dial up more, colder turn it down.
AC is much better suited for cars where the air blows on you direectly.

Would moving the internal temp sensor to a vent work better? It would then be measuring the direct hot or cold temp.
