Ignition Key Light

Got sick of fumbling to get key in ignition at night, so fitted LED light to Ignition barrel. Wired to interior light. Kit complete with wiring loom.
Available in 4 colours.

Looks good, the lack of light is the biggest complaint they get with the Ranger.
The design engineers must be stupid, 5 models and still no light, maybe 2018 model, or 2019, or 2020, or..........

Anyone know the best place to pick lighting circuit for the Key light LED, mine didn't have the wiring harness

Assuming they are saying use the interior light and assuming the input then I see it as a Yellow/Green wire and this can be tapped into at the BCM (Right knee cover) which is only 10 inches away.
They they are specifying something else, feel free to post the info up.

Wow this is awesome. Is there a way to test the connection before cutting into it tho?

All you could do is strip some of the sheath off. I wouldn't cut the wire anyway. Use your soldering iron to take off some of the outer layer and test that way.

I tend to use a pin or needle to prick through the insulation, then use a meter probe on the pin.
