Hey guys,
I have a 2017 PXII XLT and I am looking at getting a custom comp style Bullbar. I would like to get rid of the front parking sensors and the adaptive cruise, lane departure and crash alert that came with the tech pack.
Does anyone know if this is possible and if it can be done without having any error codes showing
Thanks

Parking sensors are no problems, adative cruise would just disable and lane departure is more work.
Dur to the scope of work and time involved I can only recommend you send me a PM so you can visit me in Melbourne.

On the same topic, SAEB can you disable or reduce the number of sensors? About to jump in to a new PX3 and will be adding the usual nudge bar for the lights, now that the front sensors are standard on almost all models, the middle two will get in the way, but I would like to retain the outside two sensors.
Worst case scenario is to mount the middle ones on the bar and blank off the holes in the plastic bumper I guess.

Unfortunately no. Options are 4, 8, 10, 12.ira11y wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 4:53 pm On the same topic, SAEB can you disable or reduce the number of sensors? So rear only, front and rear, front and rear then 2 additional fronts for self parking and then 6 front and 6 rear.
It's plausible that putting the correct resistor in place of a sensor may work but I have never tried it not measured the resistance of one, I cannot really test doing this on the bench easily.
There are 3 pins, pin 1 Blue/White is generally power, pin 2 signal return and 3 is ground. I will add to list of test on the bench and see if it does anything first, If I can get them to work then can test the above and give an answer.
Thanks for the tip also, appreciate it.

Thanks SAEB, well just got told its a 4 month wait for a new XLT (in my specifications) so its either going to be a while before I get to bench test with resistors or I have to buy something off the floor (available national stock) got the long weekend to think about it
Cheers Michael

Not yet, I have seen a few nudge bars with them in and some are dog ugly and pretty much useless (for nudging ), once the new ute gets here I think I am going to end up using and ECM bar.
Cheers Michael
