Ranger Mods

Hey guys, been playing with cars and programming commodores for a few years now. previously I have programmed commodore instrument clusters, modified clusters and build custom modules to mimic gauges.

I understand how PIDs work and have played with a few bits on the commodore stuff. Ford units are completely new to me

just picked up a next gen ranger and im keen to see what I can do.

already got a OBDLinkEX, the one with the automatic switching. is this basically the same unit as the one listed here on this site stated as being nextgen compatible?

I have already plugged the cable in and connected to the vehicle and had a look around.
