MX+ initial setup with OBDLink

My MX+ dongle has arrived and connects to OBDLink on my iPhone 6s ok.
I went through the vehicle editor and pretty much got in their what I needed .. .. .. except the closest vehicle type I have to choose is an SUV, which is not correct of course.
Can this be correctly assigned in some other part of the app?
I don't drive an SUV but a 2015 XLT PX2 MK2 Ranger?
Thanks

I don't think it matters what type you put there.
I selected SUV on mine.

Hi Tony,
How did you add a 2015 Ranger?
I tried today as I received my MX+ yesterday and the best that can be selected is a 2012 Ranger/BT-50 2.5l
This then only gives access to one additional module, the IPC.
You have to select available listed vehicle options to get the FREE enhanced OEM support that MX+ boasts about.
They list the Australian Ford diesel as a supported vehicle with 2012 Ranger/BT-50 listed on their enhanced_oem_support pdf.
I'm quite annoyed as i only spent the extra so that i would have a decent bluetooth dongle with the ability to reset ANY fault and not just PCM faults when on the road. And as i have an iPhone...
Cost me a fair whack to import to SA.
Already have a cheap ELM327 with switch that i have been able to do more with than this thing but then i need to carry my spare Samsung around.
Should rather have bought Forscan for Android and saved R2000.

I would never expect the 3.2 or 2.0 Ranger to be listed. OBDlink is an American company and these engine are not sold there. Just select a late model F150 as a base then you can enter your custom PIDS from there. Also the app is generic.
If you want specific Ford then use phone app Forscan for all modules or use a laptop with the OBD.

The 3.2 engine was used in 2015-19 Transits with the SID209 ecu and 6R80, so that might be a useful starting point, too (although I've never bothered to check)
