Hi,

Thought I had read a thread on how to but cant seem to find, bought the training tool, fitted TPMS to the wheels, now the last part of using forscan to enable them I am stuck with.

Hoping this is an easy fix.

Cheers, Phil

Was able to activate TPMS using non asbuilt, didnt see the menu popup but am stuck with training can get to display train left front but nothing happens. Using the ford tool and these sensors F2GZ1A189G which i believe are correct for UA2.

I've found training TPMS sensors on other cars to be a pest. Sometimes it works straight away with the tool, other times it takes 5min a wheel while holding the tool at different angles and poking your tongue out at the same time.
If the system won't learn, go for a 30 minute drive and see if it alters things.

Just a hint. If you have a dashcam or mirror screen, unplug them and try again. The TPMS antenna is in the roof and in my case the dashcam interferes with it. I cannot train mine unless I turn it off. Took me a long time to work that out!

So this is a UA2 and not the vehicle in your signature?

Send me a PM and will get some further info off you.

I have read that the 21.25 Everest model does not require the training tool as it picks up the sensors automatically once TPMS is turned on ? Is that correct ?

Hi Phildee, did you end up getting the TPMS going? I pick my 2021.25 Trend up later this week, and I asked the salesman about this, but he didn't know if it could be done????

Initial setup does require training tool.
PX3 sensors.
Asbuilt changes to get this working, and not just non asbuilt.
Where are you located ?

Hi folks.
So I have a 2021.75 Everest Trend.
I have made all the usual changes using Forscan but the last thing I’m hoping to do is activate the TPMS window if it’s possible, to see my Tyre pressures.

Can anyone shed some light on where/how I’ll do this please

Cheers.

TPMS gauge will be in IPC non asbuilt section of Forscan.

So I’m not sure what is going on here and I could do with some advice.

These images show what my IPC and BCM show I regards to my TPMS.

It seems as if they’re there but haven’t been programmed or identified? It’s a brand new car but I ordered it with different tyres to the factory ones.

So, what do I need to get not only the tyres identified by the car but also to get the TPMS menu activated so I can also do resets after lowering pressures when I go 4WDing.

Thanks I’m advance.

I should also note, with the TPMS Menu Enabled - I get a warning like Tyre Pressure Mount Failure and the orange tyre icon light.
It goes away when I turn the menu feature off

Hi Stewart,

I have gotten to exactly the same point as OBRETT above.
UA2 Everest Trend (2L).

Is there an additional as built change that needs to be done?

I have got this working on a 2021 Everest Sport 2.0 with all tyres programmed and displaying pressures on a scangauge.
What do I need to change to get the pressures displayed on the dash?
