Ultragauge Instantaneous L/100Km

My Instantaneous L/100Km is not reading correctly. Reading about double of what it should be and even when rolling down a hill where you would expect to see 0 or somewhere around there it still reads around 18.
Any thoughts

Have you calibrated the gauge?

Have you put the vehicle details in?
Have you set where it takes the fuel readings from?
