Way back on the 8th April 2018 I purchased a iTechworld 900ah "Multi-function Vehicle Emergency Starting Power Unit"

I have ONLY used the device 3, possibly 4 times in the entire period I have owned it – the first time was some months after I purchased it to start my Land Rover Discovery, the second sometime later to start my wife’s Skoda VRS sedan and last December in Victoria to boot my lithium auxiliary battery to above 10.5 volts so that the RedArc BCDC charger would recharge it and then zilch, nanna, it has never worked since and that’s not good enough.

After several emails to iTechworld they determined that the "intelligent" jumper lead set was defective and as I was out of the 12 month warranty period they directed me to a site where I could buy a replacement set for $59.00 delivered.

This I have done but I wouldn't advise anyone to buy one of these units from them.

This isn't a unit you would expect to use daily, it's there for emergencies only and it could be possibly years old before you go to use it and then find that you too have a defective set of leads.

My bad typo it should be 900a

I should expand my comments by saying that the base unit is good, many others have one and not had an issue with them, the attitude of the company is however crap in that they admitted that the leads were defective but refused to replace them - regardless of their period of use - 4 times max - simply because their warranty period had expired. The leads are not serviceable, they are fully sealed and are tamper-proof.
