Fitted the hand made dot compliant aus standard compliant braided brake lines. 75mm longer than standard. Pedal feel is significantly better after a full brake flush and bleed. More reliable offroad as intended with no line swell under hard braking especially when towing. Highly recommend this mod.

I did mine some time ago when I "upgraded" to Brembo discs, calipers and pads and semi competition brake shoe materials for the rear drums. Following my braking experience from my old rally driving days the leading shoes are a harder material than the trailing shoes. It may seem to be an odd thing to do but it works.
It amuses me that the rear discs on my wifes Skoda Octavia VRS 248 are bigger than the front discs on my Ranger, but then she can do 0 - 100 in well under 6 seconds, my Ranger does it in under 3 minutes :-).
You're quite right about the pedal feel, the immediate improved feel was very noticable.
I did'nt go for "hand made" though, I just went to my local clutch and brake specialist in Penrith NSW who I've been using for the past 30 odd years and ordered a set off them for my 2017 PX2 Ranger, they were practically off the shelf items and are fully DOT compliant.
