Question regarding empty connector below steering wheel column/above pedals area

Dear All,

Recently I've observed an empty connector below steering wheel column/above pedals area. I attached some photos below. I looked around to find if connector was disconnected accidentally from somewhere but I couldn't find anything.

Can anybody help me about what this empty connector is for or where does it belong to?

Most likely ambient lighting. Probably one on the other footwell area also. Nothing to say they go back to the BCM though.

Thanks for helping.
I am thinking to try to connect some led lights to them and see if it works after enabling them from forscan.

Would you advise me to give it a try?

Actually, it is not abient lighting. Ambient is 3 pin.

Looks like an airbag connector if anything so I would not touch it. Some models would have knee airbags, why it is not in yellow wrap is beyond me.
